Press Manor Fisheries

Situated between Chesterfield and Matlock on the A632, Press Manor has three well stocked lakes for coarse, carp and trout fishing.

The owner is an Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructor (APGAI) and instruction is available for casting and fishing for individuals and groups, hourly, half day or day tuition.
The lakes are located in a beautiful peaceful setting on the edge of the Peak National Park and all lakes are well stocked, fish are added regularly to maintain excellent levels of stock.



COARSE LAKE :
A 3 acre lake with its own entrance and parking close to the lake.It has a total of 32 pegs and well stocked with Roach to 2 lbs, Bream to 7½lbs, Small Carp, Barbel,Tench. The best methods for fishing are Pole, waggler & feeder, 18 or 20 hooks. Ground bait permitted: 1kg per angler, Keep nets are permitted between September and April.

CARP LAKE :
3¼ acre specialist carp lake Stocked well with Mirror, Common, Leather Carp and Ghosties. The lake has a good number of carp averaging 16 lbs, and all are putting on weight. There is plenty of cover for anglers and has a clear snag free bottom in most parts. Parking is next to the lake, for ease of access.

Barbless hooks only
Three rods permitted in winter months
Two rods permitted in summer months
Boilies are allowed.
(No Tiger Nuts or Peanuts)
